Naco Mexican Grayson

Our Mission

Honoring the immigrant journey through food.

From Mexico City to the borderlands of Nuevo Laredo, and now to San Antonio, we celebrate heritage, resilience, and community with every plate.

At Naco Mexican, our mission is to honor the immigrant journey and the diverse roots of Mexican culture through food.

Francisco, born and raised in Mexico City, brings the flavors of the capital - bold, layered, and full of history. Lizzeth, raised on the borderlands of Nuevo Laredo, carries the traditions of the frontera - where cultures meet, stories are shared, and resilience defines daily life.

Together in San Antonio, our new home, we unite our heritages to create dishes that celebrate Mexico's past while embracing its evolving future. Every plate we serve is a reflection of our belief that food is memory, culture, and connection - a bridge between where we come from and the community we now call home.

Our Story

Naco Mexican began as a dream shared by two people from different corners of Mexico, united by a passion for food, culture, and community.

Francisco Estrada, from Mexico City, grew up in a home where food preparation and generational recipes - especially moles and traditional dishes - were part of daily life. His path from criminal law to the kitchen reflects his dedication to family, heritage, and culture - now expressed on a plate.

Lizzeth Martínez, raised on the borderlands of Nuevo Laredo, began cooking at a very young age on her family’s ranch. There she learned the rhythms of the seasons, the value of respecting ingredients, and how food carries memory and connection across generations.

Together, we left Mexico City for San Antonio, searching for a better life for our family and a place where our food could tell the story of who we are. What began as a humble food truck has grown into award-winning restaurants that celebrate the flavors of Mexico while honoring our immigrant journey.

Our story is one of resilience, heritage, and community. Naco Mexican is more than a restaurant - it is a living testament to our roots, our traditions, and the culture we proudly share through food.
